Alfa Romeo Junior Veloce – Stylish, Sporty & Super fun.

Project Type

Photography

Date

August 2025

Bicester

We got my hands on the new AlfaRomeoMEA Junior Veloce, courtesy of the fine folk at Research Garage Group Ltd 150 miles later, I’m still grinning. Electric? Yes. Predictable? Absolutely not.

Now, we're not usually the sort to go weak at the knees over a compact crossover. But this one? This one’s different. It’s got that signature Alfa snarl – sharp lines, punchy stance, and a look that whispers “I’m not your average school run shuttle.” Even if the side-mounted number plate – that cheeky Alfa design flourish – is nowhere to be found, the Junior still turns heads and raises eyebrows. In the best way.

🏎️ Out on the open road, it’s got real get-up-and-go. Smooth and confident on the motorway, playful on the twisties. It’s not trying to be a hot hatch, but there’s more than enough fizz under your right foot to keep you entertained. And it does it all with that slightly rebellious Alfa character that refuses to play by the usual EV rules.

The Veloce spec we had came loaded: black-and-white two-tone, massage seats (yes, really), and a cabin packed with tech that feels premium without trying too hard. It’s got that lovely Alfa trait of making you feel like the main character in your own Italian driving film – just with more battery range and fewer breakdowns (hopefully).

Are we ready to go fully electric just yet? Not quite. But when we am, this little beast is absolutely going on the shortlist.

📸 Naturally, we couldn’t let it go without a proper photoshoot. It’s been a while since we dove deep into some real automotive content creation, and this was the perfect way to get the creative wheels spinning again.
